Fruitvale Blvd. Road Work Could Impact Commute

City crews are busy this week with a project that could impact your commute. City officials say you'll see traffic restrictions Monday through Thursday, June 3rd through June 6th, on Fruitvale Boulevard from 40th Avenue to 39th Avenue. A news release from the city gives details.
"The curb lane on Fruitvale Blvd in front of Denny’s Restaurant will be closed, restricting eastbound traffic to one lane as City of Yakima Street Department crews remove and pave asphalt on Fruitvale Boulevard between 40th Avenue and 39th Avenue.

The work will be done from approximately 6:00 am until 3:30 pm each day from June 3rd through June 6th.

Drivers can expect delays in the project area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed."
