Yakima Gas Prices Drop 6.8 Cents to $3.48 Per Gallon

Average gasoline prices in Yakima have decreased by 6.8 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging $3.48 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 91 local stations with prices 27.2 cents lower than just a month ago and 27.3 cents lower compared to the same time last year.
MORE REDUCTIONS AROUND THE STATE
In Washington State, the average gasoline price stands at $3.90 per gallon, while the national average diesel price has also seen a slight reduction of 0.5 cents, now at $3.47 per gallon.

Looking for the cheapest gas in the valley? A short drive to the Wolf Den in Wapato, where prices are as low as $2.85 per gallon. Costco and Ahtanum Fuel Stop in Union Gap are also competitive, offering gas at $2.93 per gallon, as reported on Wednesday.
2025 LOOKS PROMISING FOR LOWER PRICES
Looking ahead, GasBuddy has unveiled its 2025 Fuel Price Outlook, predicting a third consecutive year of declining gas and diesel prices. The forecast suggests that the national average for gasoline may drop to $3.22 per gallon in 2025, down from $3.33 in 2024, and significantly lower than the historic highs seen in 2022.
