Program Coordinator Kaycee Looney says advocates are trained volunteers appointed by the court to look out for the best interest of of kids who are alledged to have been abused and or neglected by parents or other caregivers.
Called the Help The Community Project, the effort involves creating teddy bears out of wash cloths and face towels. Volunteers will assemble the bears beginning at 1:00 pm Friday, June 22 and you are invited to help.
