
Yakima Looks For Volunteers During National Volunteer Week
Perfect timing. The Yakima City Council is seeking volunteers interested in serving on City of Yakima boards, committees, and commissions and the announcement comes during National Volunteer Week.
City Communications & Public Affairs Director Randy Beehler lists the availabilites in a City News Release:
The Arts Commission
Community Review Board
Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee
Historic Preservation Commission
Board of Appeals
The following boards and commissions have term expirations in June and may have positions vacant: Henry Beauchamp Jr. Advisory Board, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Tree City USA Board.
