City Water Line Work Closes Part of 2nd Street This Week

Yakima city crews will be busy this week with water line work that will result in the closure of 2nd Street between Staff Sgt Pendleton Way and Yakima Avenue. The closure happens Monday, December 9 through Friday, December 13.  Crews will be on the job at 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
A news release from the city says because of heavy traffic on 2nd Street, drivers can expect delays. You may want to change your route if you want to avoid delays.

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
