City Closed On Monday for 4th of July Holiday

As expected many of the city and county services will be closed on Monday July 5 for the 4th of July holiday. If you ride the bus where you hoping to get some business done on Monday? No bus service will be available on Monday.
Monday, July 5, is a holiday which means city offices will be closed. Many of the cities non-emergency services will be closed for the day resuming normal operations on Tuesday, July 6 that includes City Hall, Y-PAC, Public Works, the Harman Center, and Parks and Recreation offices.

Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.

If you are a bus rider Yakima Transit will not provide bus service next Monday. However bus service will be available on July 4th, including free shuttles to and from 4th of July festivities at State Fair Park. You can catch the bus for the 4th of July celebration at a number of places.

The City of Yakima’s Harman Center will be closed this Saturday, July 3rd, and next Monday in observance of the July 4th holiday. The Washington Fruit Community Center will be closed Monday.

There will be regularly scheduled City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Monday.

SPECIAL 4TH OF JULY FAIR ADMISSION TICKET PROMOTION

Stop by State Fair Park’s ticket office located at 1301 S Fair Avenue from Noon - 8:00 pm on the 4th of July only, to take advantage of this special promotion. 2021 Adult Fair Admission tickets will be available for $8.00 each (limit 10 per order). The Central Washington State Fair will run September 24 - October 3, 2021.
The 4th of July Celebration event and parking are free and please remember there is no pets, outside alcohol or BBQ’s allowed.
