Yakima School District Trying To Fill School Board Vacancies

The Yakima School District was hoping to quickly fill a vacancy on the school board after the resignation of David Garcia to moved out of the area. Now there's another opening. Jim Scoggins announced on Monday that he to is stepping down saying family matters are requiring his attention. Scoggins resignation takes effect on November 15th. During tomorrow's board meeting the district is expected to appoint a replacement for Garcia.
