Yakima Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing

Yakima Police are talking with a person of interest in connection to the homicide. They say the person is being held on unrelated charges.

Yakima Police are investigating a fatal stabbing reported at about 3:00 a.m. in the area of South Naches and East Chestnut Avenues. Officers were called to the area and when they arrived they found a 23-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He died at a Yakima hospital.
