The City of Yakima Parks and Recreation Commission wants to hear from you during its regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, February 13th in consideration of a possible pool at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

The City has hired a consulting firm to gather information and receive input from various groups for the feasibility study identifying three possible designs for an outdoor pool at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, as well as construction and operational costs for each of the pool designs.​

The cost for the study is not to exceed $35,000. It will be paid for with Real Estate Excise Tax 1 funds.

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
