DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD CUT SERVICES OR INCREASE TAXES?

Baker is expected to focus on the Yakima city budget and the need to make some tough decisions with a predicted $9 million shortfall in 2026. Yakima City Manager Vicki Baker says "the City is facing some very difficult budget challenges and the City Council needs help from the community to make tough decisions."
Big decisions need to be made and will be made because by law the city must have a balanced budget.
