The city of Yakima's Harman Center at Gailleon Park is a busy place this spring and summer. The center is a place where seniors and friends can gather and enjoy many activities and adventures planned at the center. In fact city officials say they plan a wellness fair, hiking club and an outreach to benefit local veterans this year. City officials say they're just some of the events included in the Spring 2022 Newsletter published by the City of Yakima’s Harman Center at Gailleon Park.

The newsletter covers activities at the center scheduled through the end of June. It includes:
Event announcements such as the Harman Center’s 18th anniversary open house
A weekly schedule calendar of ongoing favorites such as fitness classes
An update on new Pacific Northwest trips, such as Mariners games and an excursion to Friday Harbor. Officials at the Harman Center also plan trips every year so if you love to travel make sure you check the website or contact the center for more information.

April is a busy month at the Harman Center

There's plenty to do everyday at the center. The Harman Center library, pool room and fireplace sitting area are open on a daily basis. Here's a list of activities in April.

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
