Did you do some weekend driving? Time to the fill the tank on a Monday. Average gasoline prices in Yakima have fallen 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.73 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 91 stations in Yakima.

WE'VE BEEN ENJOYING MONTHS OF FALLING PRICES BUT GAS STILL EXPENSIVE

Prices in Yakima are 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 90.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 2.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.55 per gallon.
Gas selling for an average of $4.11 in Washington State today that's down from $4.12 on Friday.

WE KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE CHEAPEST GAS IN THE VALLEY

The cheapest gas in the valley priced Sunday was found at Wheelers Kountry Korner in Wapato selling for $3.08 per gallon. You'll also find cheap gas at the Ahtanum Fuel Stop, Sinclair in Union Gap where gas is selling for $3.17 per gallon or Costco in Union Gap $3.39 per gallon.

CROSS YOUR FINGERS PRICES CONTINUE TO FALL THIS FALL

"While the future looks good for gas prices to continue trending lower for most in the weeks ahead, oil's jump may mute the downside potential just a bit — for now." The national average price of gasoline is up 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.16 per gallon today. The national average is down 18.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 67.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
