Weather For Yakima’s Fair Week
Weather can make-or-break the fun of fair season in Yakima, Washington. The fair lies right at a period of the year where weather can be sunny and warm or windy, cloudy, and cold. Well let me unveil the long awaited weather prediction.

Conditions
Those hoping for Indian summer conditions will sadly most likely not get their wish. However, unseasonably cold weather does not look like it’s going to dampen the fun either. The weather for Yakima’s fair week actually looks quite seasonable, calm, and how I imagine traditional fair weather should be. But definitely be thinking more pumpkins and cider than ice cold lemonade!
A Changing Of The Seasons
I personally love the cooler weather on the way. Fair season to me feels like the beginning of Halloween. Nights have just become longer than the days, the harvest smell is in the air, and that first bitter nip of fall reminds you trick-or-treating is just around the corner. There is also something excitingly eerie about fairs and carnivals that I can’t quite put my finger on that fits the Halloween vibe perfectly.
