Woman Arrested After Children Found With Loaded Gun

A 25-year-old woman faces a judge and charges in Yakima County Superior Court after her children were found walking with a loaded .25 caliber hand gun in a trailer park at 710 State Route 821 on Thursday. Yakima County Sheriff's deputies were called to the park after a resident saw the two boys ages 1 and 3 walking around the area at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The park manager called authorities who found the mother asleep in her home. The mother faces a charge of unlawful firearms possession. Her three children are with Child Protective Services.
