Growing up in a predominantly Irish family St Patrick's day was always a fun holiday to celebrate. Our parents would hide gold coins, leave crumbled-up shamrock cookies in the kitchen, we would even find little green footprints leading out to the doggy door.

But now as an adult we like to celebrate a little differently, our green Sprite has become Green Beer and our shamrock cookies have turned into Corned beef and cabbage. So of course I wanna celebrate St.Patrick's day in Yakima the best way possible. At a pub in Yakima!

Norms Of Yakima on North front street

Norms isn't an Irish pub by any means, but they're one of the top-tier spots in Yakima. Being a newer bar in the area Norms has gained a lot of traction with die-hard patrons, it may not be Cheers but you can bet everyone knows your name. If I had to guess they'll probably be doing something special for St.Patrick's day and something you won't wanna miss out on.

Schab's Bier Den on 2nd Street

Schab's Bier Den is a great place to unwind and enjoy all the beers you can imagine on tap and in a can. Of course, they're excited to celebrate St. Patrick's day on March 17th with a pop-up Kitchen serving authentic Irish dishes such as stew, corned beef Cabbage, and a whole lot more. They'll also have Irish desserts made by "Natural Disasters". They'll also be doing a special giveaway with drawings throughout the night, so enjoy authentic Irish food, beers, and some fun games and giveaways!

Public House on Iron Horse CT

Public House is hosting a special event for their St Patrick's day including Beer on tap as usual and a very special guest of Dead Lee, a modern Folk band from Portland Oregon sure to bring the house down with some authentic music, covers from Irish performers and more!

McGuire's Irish Restaurant and Pub

Of course, we're saving the best for last, an authentic Irish Pub in our own little town of Yakima. With delicious authentic beers, the best Irish food you'll find in the valley and you can bet your last dollar they'll be serving their green beer. Go and enjoy everything Irish in this welcoming and warm pub to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!
