What’s Washington’ Favorite Cookie?
Just three weekends before Christmas and with such limited time, many of us will be baking Christmas cookies on one of those weekends. It makes sense with Monday being National Cookie Day. But Christmas themed treats aside, what are the country's non-seasonal cookie favorites?
USA Today looked into it and reports, “Nestlé Toll House asked 5,024 people nationwide what of 57 different kind of cookies best remind them of their state…..Using the data collected in October, Nestlé created a list of cookies that "best describe" each state."
The most popular pick was chocolate chip, with one out of every three Americans in favor of the flavor and soft and chewy won for favorite texture. But leave it to the Pacific Northwest to march to a different drummer.
