Wapato School District And Teachers Reach Tentative Agreement

More than 3,300 kids in the Wapato School District will start school Tuesday after the Wapato Education Association and the Wapato School District reached a tentative agreement on a new contract on Monday. The teachers union will vote on the new contract later Tuesday. However the agreement means no strike and that school will start on time. No details of the tentative agreement were released.
