Wapato School District

With snow and icy conditions around the Yakima Valley, several local school districts are canceling extracurricular activities for Tuesday (Jan. 8) and delaying some schedules for Wednesday.

The teachers union will vote on the new contract later Tuesday. However the agreement means no strike and that school will start on time. No details of the tentative agreement were released.
