According to the city so far 27 people have successfully completed and graduated from the Community Diversion Program. Of the 27, three have new convictions (25% of participants).
The closures include City Hall, Y-PAC and Parks and Recreation offices.
Also closed are business offices for both the police and fire departments however emergency services are available.
A volunteer committee is currently undergoing a competitive process to select a local solar installer to provide group purchase installations during the Solarize Yakima campaign. Tax credits are also available.
