City Offices Closed Thursday and Friday for Holiday

Many of the city of Yakima's offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The closures include City Hall, Y-PAC and Parks and Recreation offices.
Also closed are business offices for both the police and fire departments however emergency services are available.
The Harman Center and Lions Pool are also closed for the holiday.
No transit service will be available on Thanksgiving but bus service will be available Friday November 29.
The city refuse department won't be working on Thanksgiving but garbage pick-up service will resume Friday. If your garbage day is Thursday it will instead be collected Friday, November 29. Garbage pick-up scheduled for Friday will be collected on Saturday, November 30th.
