Two programs operating in the Highland and Wapato school districts are celebrating after winning grants from a new non profit called Washington STEM. The group focuses on science, technology, engineering and math education. During ceremonies later today White Swan will get 10 thousand dollars for a program that pushes technology and science. And 77 hundred dollars has been awarded to the Northwest Learning and Acheivement group for programs in the Highland and Quincy middle schools.
