Yakima County Prosecutor Joe Brusic vows to continue an investigation into the city of Wapato after a judge ruled Wednesday authorities didn't have probable cause to arrest and hold former Wapato City Administrator Juan Orozco. Brusic says the investigation will focus on gaining the evidence to establish probable cause in the future. Detectives from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office say Orozco stole money and set himself up to benefit as the city administrator. But a judge ruled there wasn't enough probable cause to hold Orozco on any charges.
It's unknown if Orozco will be charged in the future but Brusic says the investigation is not over.
