Pregnant Woman from Terrence Heights Shot Once Still in Critical Condition

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say the 25-year-old pregnant wife shot by her husband in Terrace Heights on Friday is still in critical condition this morning. The woman was shot once and was rushed to a hospital. He is not in jail and his pregnant wife is in critical condition. It is unclear if her baby survived.

The husband claimed he thought she was an intruder. He is cooperating with detectives as they investigate. The shooting happened in the couples’ bedroom at a home on the 4200 block of Nola Loop Road in Terrace Heights. No identities have been released.
