Yakima Police continue the investigation into the death of a 54-year-old woman found near Myron Lake on Monday. Capt. Jay Seely says they're not conducting a homicide investigation because Jodi Stiltner died of hypothermia. But he says they are investigating the alleged assault of Stiltner by a man who she was with hours before her death. Seely says although the man had nothing to do with her death he was seen on surveillance video pushing Stiltner of out his car near 40th and Fruitvale.

Seely says they're recommending an assault charge and they're forwarding reports to the Yakima County Prosecutors Office for review. The man was questioned by police earlier this week but no arrest has been made as the investigation continues Today.
