Muffet Continues Fight With City On Strip Club

Jamie Muffet and the fight over a proposed strip club in Yakima are back in the spotlight.  Muffet is suing the city of Yakima for not allowing him to open the club on south first street in 2010.  Muffet first spelled out his plan to the Yakima planning division and hearing examiner for a gentleman's club that would include topless dancers. After the proposal was rejected Muffet appealed to the Yakima City Council.  After holding a public hearing the council unanimously rejected the plan.  On Monday jury selection was underway and opening arguments were held in U.S. District Court in Yakima.

muffett suing for that money along with legal fees and wants a ruling that allows him to open the club.
