We got word of the new Salvation Army Community Center and food pantry back in March of this year, and now they have the official dedication planned, and all of you are invited!

Helping the Yakima Valley is what the Yakima Salvation Army does, and does it well! But it’s because of a lot of great people, donations, and volunteers that make that happen! And now they’re another tool for help.

The dedication of the Hope Market Client Choice Food Pantry is coming up, and you are invited to the celebration!

Date: Thursday, June 25th, 2026
Time: 5 pm to 7 pm
Location: 509 North 4th Street in Yakima
Cost: This event is FREE to attend! Bring the whole family!

You’re invited to see the Yakima Salvation Army’s new Hope Market and take a tour of the Community Center. During the event, you’ll be able to enjoy a light meal, watch the ribbon-cutting and dedication, learn about all the work and good that the Salvation Army does in our community, and learn all the different ways you can help in your community.
