Early Morning Crash Kills Young Yakima Man

Washington State Patrol troopers say a 25-year-old man was killed in a semi truck/vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 12 and Old Naches Highway two miles west of Yakima. The crash was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Troopers say 25-year-old Kyle Corbin of Yakima failed to stop at the light and collided in the westbound lanes with a semi truck driven by a 33-year-old man from Granger.
Corbin died at a Yakima hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
