City Looking for Community Christmas Tree

The search is on for Yakima's community Christmas tree. The city and the Downtown Association of Yakima are looking for anyone who would like to donate a tree for the holidays in downtown Yakima. The tree will be the center piece of a number of downtown celebrations.
A news release from the city of Yakima say If you think you can help call Cally Price, the Assistant to the City Manager, at 575-6040.
Crews will arrive to remove the tree by Monday, November 18, and it will be installed at Millennium Plaza.

The selected tree will be removed at no cost to the owner.
