City Council Retreat Focusing on Priorities, Future of City

The Yakima City Council will hold a retreat tomorrow to talk about the future and the goals for the city.

One of the topics of discussion will be a lesson on how to handle difficult and complex decisions.

A California consultant on leadership training will lead the discussion.

The council will also look closely at economic development, codes, public safety and trust.

The retreat will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Yakima Avenue from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is open to the public.
