Birds Damage Power Substation Causing Thousands to Lose Power in Selah

It was a long day for many with thousands from Selah in the dark on Monday. Power was out for most of the day. Officials from Pacific Power say more than 6,000 customers lost power after a substation was damaged by birds late Monday morning. Crews spent most of the day trying to get power restored. Most had the power restored by early last night.
