10 days of the Central Washington state fair wrapped up Sunday after tens of thousands of people passed through the gates. Final attendance figures aren't yet available but no doubt big crowds were there, nearly 266 thousand people attended the fair this year, about 7 thousand more than last year...

As a lifelong fair goer, I'm amazed on how it manages to change with the times, but retains a timeless appeal.

It's time for the Central Washington State Fair and kids all over are scheming and saving their money for fair fun. It brings back a lot of memories.

The Yakima Economy is about to get a huge boost with the opening of the Central Washington State Fair. General Manager Greg Stewart says the overall impact of the 10 day event is a whopping 29 million dollars.
