Firefighters Battle Hot Dry Conditions At Miriam Fire

No change in the last two days on the Miriam Fire burning near Clear Lake. The fire is still estimated at 2,250 acres with 10 percent containment. Fire officials say the forecast to the end of the week continues to be sunny, hot and hazy. temperatures will be near 90 degrees with relative humidity down to 19%. They say fuels have dried from the moisture over the past weekend.
