From the Grandview Campus of Yakima Valley Comunity College

Students in YVCC’s Wine Marketing course, in collaboration with YVCC’s Teaching Winery, Yakima Valley Vintners, will host an exciting evening of wine education and the opportunity to taste award-winning wines. The free event provides our community the opportunity to learn about wines produced in the Yakima Valley as well as tour the only teaching winery in the region. Yakima Valley Vintners student-crafted wines are available for purchase by the glass, bottle or the case.

Join us on Wednesday, Mar. 6, 2013 for an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Yakima Valley Vintners Teaching Winery on the YVCC Grandview Campus. In addition to learning how award-winning wines are crafted, from the grapes to the glass, the 4th Annual TEACH, TOUR & TASTE event will feature a wine barrel toasting demonstration by reWine Barrels of Salem, Oregon.
