Show guests will get to meet Mike Fourtner, formerly of the FV Time Bandit, at the 2014 Central Washington Home and Garden Show this Saturday and Sunday.

The Home and Garden Show has had a tradition of bringing reality TV stars to meet show attendees for years. Designers from home makeover shows on TLC and HGTV have appeared at the show many times.

This year Mike Fourtner from the Discovery Channel show "Deadliest Catch" will be at the show on March 15 and 16. Fourtner spent years fishing for King and Opilio crab on the Bering Sea as a deckhand and engineer on the fishing vessel Time Bandit. Fourtner now owns a salmon fishing boat in Alaska, and also works with the diesel engine company, Cummins Northwest.

Fourtner and Carly Faul, executive director of the Central Washington Home Builders' Association, were guests on Wednesday's Mike Bastinelli show. Fourtner talked about the years he spent fishing for crab in some of the most hazardous conditions on earth, while Faul talked about this weekend's Home and Garden Show.
