Daniel Blizzard Found Guilty in Holbrook Murder Case
Sources say the 29-year-old was found guilty by a Yakima County Superior Court jury in the death of 79-year-old real estate agent Vern Holbrook.
Holbrook, owner of Aspen Real Estate, was assaulted in May of 2013 at a Cowiche home. He died eight months later due to what authorities say were a result of the injuries he suffered in the assault.
Blizzard was charged with first degree murder in the case. Prosecutors say that Blizzard hired two people to kill Holbrook after a deal Blizzard had made with Holbrook to buy Aspen Real Estate fell through due to Blizzard failing to make payments to Holbrook.
