Third Arrest in Attack on Vern Holbrook

Vern Holbrook is still in the hospital four months after attackers left him for dead while showing a house. Now police have arrested a third man in connection with the attempted murder.

KIMA TV reports that officials have arrested Daniel Blizzard after finding communications between one of the two men previously arrested and Blizzard.

Blizzard owned a company that had tried to buy out Holbrook and the unsuccessful bid led to a dispute between the two.

Holbrook remains in the hospital and his son Terry told KIMA that he is hopeful for a healthy recovery. Doctors originally said that it could take 14 to 15 months to fully recover but that a full recovery might not be possible.
