Yakima Sunfair Parade Attracts Hundreds to Downtown Yakima

Partly sunny skies greeted hundreds of people who attended the 57th annual Yakima Sunfair Parade in downtown Yakima Saturday morning. More than 120 entries lined up from 16th Avenue to Naches Avenue as hundreds of people lined Yakima Avenue to enjoy the parade. This year's Grand Marshall was Yakima County Sheriff Brian Winter. For many The parade is the unofficial kickoff to the start of the Central Washington State Fair. The fair opened on Friday at State Fair Park.
