Yakima Police searched but couldn't locate robbery suspects this past weekend. Police say at about 12:45 a.m. on Friday, November 2, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business in the 300 block of West Mead Avenue.  When officers arrived a cashier at the business told them that two suspects had entered the business.  According to the cashier, one suspect pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money while the other suspect grabbed merchandise.  Both suspects left the store on foot.
That was the second robbery last week.
The first happened Thursday just after 9:00 p.m.  Officers responded to an alarm from a business in the 300 block of South 3rd Street.   When officers arrived a cashier at the business told them that a lone armed suspect had entered the store, pointed a gun at the cashier, and demanded money.  The cashier gave the suspect money from the cash register and the suspect left the store on foot.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5’6″ tall, and weighing about 140 pounds.

The suspects in Friday's robbery? One is described as a tall, thin, Hispanic male.  The second suspect is described as a shorter, white male of a stocky build.
