Yakima Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

Yakima Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery was reported at a mini-mart at 708 N. 5th Avenue Friday night.
Witnesses report seeing the man enter the A&A Mini Mart  at about 8:40 p.m. Friday. He pointed what  police believe was an assault-type rifle at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect grabbed the money and ran from the store. Police believe the suspect fled in a vehicle waiting nearby.
