Yakima Police Investigating Thursday Homicide

Yakima Police are investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old man reported early Thursday morning. Officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of South Sixth Street at about 3:30 a.m. When they arrived they found the victim with gunshot wounds to his foot, groin and torso. He was taken to a Yakima hospital then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died. Police have identified the victim and no arrests have been made.
