Yakima Police Investigating Monday Night Shooting

Yakima Police are investigating a shooting reported Monday that resulted in the injury of a 34-year-old man. Officers were called to the 2000 block of Jerome Avenue on Monday night where witnesses told them about the shooting. Police found the victim at a Yakima hospital where he's now being treated for a gunshot wound and not speaking with police.
Authorities say the man was walking on Jerome Avenue when he was shot by one of two people. Police say they believe the shooting was gang related.
