Yakima Police have identified one of the two females in the shooting at 31-year-old Daniel Rose. The other is a unidentified 15-year-old girl.

A news release from the department giving details.

"When police arrived, they located a vehicle in the 1700 block of 8th Avenue.  Inside the vehicle were 31-year-old Danielle Rose and a 15-year-old female.  Both were suffering from gunshot wounds.  The name of the 15-year-old victim is being withheld because she is a juvenile.

Rose, who was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, and the 15-year-old, who was in the passenger seat, were taken to a local hospital before being transported to Harborview.

Based on preliminary investigation, Yakima police detectives believe the shooting occurred in the 600 block of West Pierce.  Detectives believe Rose then drove to the location where the vehicle she was driving was found by police.

Yakima police continue to investigate the incident.  No arrests have been made at this time.

Yakima Police are investigating a shooting reported Sunday afternoon in the 1700 block of South Eighth Avenue. Police were called to the home just before 3:00 p.m. When they arrived they found two adult females suffering from injuries. That's all the details that have been released. The shooting remains under investigation.
