Yakima Police Investigate Monday Morning Shooting

Yakima Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person Monday morning in the 500 block of Lewis Street. Officers were called to the area at about 5:20 a.m. When they arrived, they found one gunshot victim and no suspects. The victim, who hasn't been identified, was taken to a Yakima hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive. Detectives are searching for answers and suspects who apparently left the area in two vehicles before police arrived.
