Almost a half dozen gang related shootings this month in Yakima and so far police say they have received very little cooperation and no arrests. The latest happened early Sunday morning when a 32-year-old Yakima man was shot in a leg. Authorities say they found the man just after midnight on the five hundred block of North Third Street on the sidewalk bleeding from his wound. The man told officers he was confronted by rival gang members in a nearby yard. He ran when someone fired shots at him. He was struck in the leg as he ran away. He was treated at a Yakima hospital and no arrests were made.
