Yakima Man Recovering After Being Shot At Yakima Home

A 21-year-old man is recovering at a Seattle hospital Today after being shot at a Yakima home on December 23rd. Officers responded to the home in the 300 block of Quince Avenue at about 8:00 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found a 21-year-old victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. Authorities say 21-year-old Lamberto Valenzuela-Reyna was handling a shotgun when it fired and struck the 21-year-old victim. Valenzuela-Reyna was arrested and faces a charge of third degree assault. He's being held in the Yakima County Jail. The 21-year-old victim is recovering at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
