Yakima Library Coordinating Community Read of True Grit

With so many people busy with social media the Yakima Valley Library is inviting families to get involved in Yakima Valley Reads.

Charlotte Hinderliter is the Community Library Resources Coordinator and she says it is time to put down that phone and grab a book.

We would like the Yakima Valley to read the same book at the same time and create a diolog about this amazing book and this year the book is True Grit by Charles Portus.

You can pick up a copy of the book at any Yakima Valley Library branch for free and you can keep the book. A number of community discussions, movies and other events are planned around the book in the community through November 6.
