Yakima Drug Trafficker Hugo Enrique Davadi Sentenced to 12 Years for Fentanyl Dealing
Hugo Enrique Davadi was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Stanley A. Bastian in the Eastern District of Washington to twelve years in federal prison for dealing fentanyl.
Investigation
Davadi was one of the biggest drug traffickers in the Yakima area between 2023 and 2024, and was part of the La Raza street gang connected to the La Nuestra Familia organization. Davadi was caught selling a federal informant 450,000 fentanyl pills as well as 3 grams of fentanyl powder intended for allocation across the valley.
Davadi was arrested in April 2024 in a motel after federal and local law enforcement in partnership executed multiple search warrants. A stash of illegal drugs including fentanyl, Suboxone strips, and methamphetamine was uncovered.
Background
Davadi had been previously arrested after a high-speed police chase in 2010, where he was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine and a loaded gun. He would go on to spend 77 months in federal prison. After being released, he violated his supervision terms on numerous occasions. He was also granted entry into a government treatment program for drug addiction but was dismissed following separate arrests for DUI, drug use, and domestic violence.
