Yakima County Republicans are hoping you'll grab your ballot and vote with others starting this Saturday at one of five different locations in Yakima, Selah and Zillah. For many it's a chance to remember when voting was available in person at area schools before the state switched to all mail-in voting.

MAKING IT EASY FOR YOU TO VOTE WITH OTHERS

A press release from the Yakima County Republican Party says "it’s your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our county and our great nation. We understand the importance of a strong, unified voice, and we’re making it easier than ever for you to exercise your civic duty." Party Chair Matt Brown, also a Yakima City Council member says they won't have voting machines available but they're still hoping everyone will come together and show the importance of voting.

NEED HELP? YOU'LL GET IT AND A SECURE PLACE TO DROP YOUR BALLOT

Republican party officials will be available at the locations to answer questions and concerns. They also will provide "secure dropbox locations, strategically placed throughout Yakima County, to cast your vote with confidence."

YAKIMA COUNTY AUDITOR CHARLES ROSS SAYS IT'S ALL LEGAL

Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says the party has the legal right to ask people to come together to vote. He also says they can legally provide dropbox locations for ballots to be collected and given to the Yakima County Auditors Office. Ross says even though there's nothing illegal about providing collection sites for ballots he reminds voters that you're responsible for your ballot.

Remember you don't need a stamp to drop it in the mail.
