When Is the Next Snow Set To Hit the Valley?

Winter weather is a tricky beast. The last snow went a bit harder than predicted, so I felt it best to get ourselves prepared for the next round of dustings and more.

From what AccuWeather is saying it looks like Sunday we are due for a light dusting, however Monday it says we are looking at a coating to an inch. We had much more than a light dusting the last time. I drive a bug and it was my first time in the snow, we chose not to shovel and for two days I couldn't get up the driveway haha.

I saw someone on social media asking where you can get studded tires right after the snow but I have to be honest, I think it's a little too late into winter for changing out tires, but that's none of my business and to each their own. I realize there are places all around the area getting different levels of snow. Better to be safe then sorry.

Before the next snow arrives it would be a great idea to stock up on the essentials.

• deicer
• gloves
• blanket for your car
• water just in case
• snacks because they are awesome
• flashlight
• ice scraper
• hand and feet warmers for if you get stuck somewhere at least you'd be comfier while you wait
• solar charger, you never know
• emergency traction tire - if you get stuck you can put it under your wheel and it will help get you moving
