Weekend Shootings Keep Yakima Police Busy

Two shootings over the weekend kept Yakima Police busy.  The first happened Friday night on the 800 block of South 10th Street. An unidentified teen was shot in the torso. Police did not make an arrest. The other shooting happened early Sunday on the 100 block of North 44th Avenue. A person was kicked out of a party but returned and opened fire. Two men were hit in the torso and legs. They remain at a Yakima Hospital today. Police did not make any arrests and say both shootings are gang related.
